Probabilistic Seasonal Forecast for EXTREME Rainfall for SOUTHERN AFRICA (Issued on 24 April, 2012)

This seasonal forecast is issued by the South African Weather Service. Extremes refer to the highest or lowest 15% of the climatological record (history). Probabilities indicate the chances of exceeding the highest or lowest 15% thresholds. White regions indicate a low risk of extremely high or extremely low rainfall totals to occur during the season.
